Sarah Abbott Kieffer, a retired elementary school teacher, has lived most of her life in West Hartford, Connecticut. She currently serves on the executive board of Sawa, an organization supporting refugees and immigrants in Greater Hartford. In the 1970s, she skied with the Kieffer family at Stowe. Her connection with the Stowe Mountain Chapel started in the 1980s through her father William T. Kieffer, Jr., a founding member. Sarah is grateful for the inspiring dedication of all those in the Stowe Mountain Chapel community who support this precious resource on a slope of the strikingly beautiful Stowe Mountain.
