The Rev. Dr. David Ransom served the Stowe Mountain Chapel as Resident Chaplain for seventeen years before his retirement in 2020 when he was named Resident Chaplain Emeritus.  Educated at Dartmouth College and Andover Theological Seminary, Dave pastored several congregations in the Midwest and Northeast within the Congregational Church.  He is also a member of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education. Dave’s wife Louise has been an integral part of Dave’s ministry. He and Louise have four grown children, Stephen, Sarah, Geoffrey, Peter.
