The Rev. Dr. Blythe Denham Kieffer served as Senior Minister and Head of Staff to Westminster Presbyterian Church from 2013-2025. Westminster was founded by abolitionists in 1835 and located a few blocks from the Capitol in Springfield, Illinois. She became a part of the Stowe Mountain Chapel community in 1992 when she married Dr. Peter S. Kieffer, the son of William T. Kieffer, Jr. Their son Paul grew up attending Kieffer Family gatherings at the Chapel to honor Polly’s life. Blythe counts it a privilege to lead family services within this beautiful and reverent space and serves as President of the Board and Honorary Chaplain.
