Dr. Peter S. Kieffer is the son of Founder William T. Kieffer, Jr. and has been a part of the Stowe Mountain Chapel community since its inception.   He remembers conversations about the creation of an interfaith chapel during annual hikes up the mountain to celebrate the life of his half-sister, Polly Kieffer.  A graduate of Yale University and Washington University School of Medicine, Peter has practiced pediatrics for over thirty years.
