Barbara Baraw was born in Brooklyn, NY.  A graduate of the University of Vermont, Maine, Barbara worked as part of the management team of Stowe Flake Resort, her husband’s family business until their divorce in 1978. From 1980 to 2016 she worked in various capacities in the securities Industry and studied at the New York Stock Exchange Institute.  She is the mother of two and a member of St. John’s by the Mountain Episcopal Church.  Barbara participated in the Diocesan Peace and Justice Committee and served on the New England Witness for Peace for 15 years.  Her graduate work in Historic Preservation makes her an ideal historian for the Stowe Mountain Chapel.
